Hello Christian Coffee Lovers!
I hope you all are having a great morning! Today, I want to talk about the importance of daily routines, especially when it comes to starting the day off right.
How many of you are happy with your morning routine? Are you looking for ways to improve how you start the morning? That first hour or so after getting up can be very influential for the rest of your day, and it is important to start your day off right!
Here at Christian Kitchens Coffee, we have a few ideas to help.
Mornings can be hectic, and that hecticness can quickly spread through the rest of your day if you aren’t careful!
And we don’t want that! Setting good intentions, and having a good schedule and routine are two very good ways to help the hurried feeling and stress not spread to the rest of your day.
So how does one go about setting good intentions and practicing a good routine? Well, here at Christian Kitchens Coffee, we think it starts with Prayer.
The Bible says “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17-19.
Starting your morning off with prayer, even before you get out of bed, will help you set your intentions for the day, as well as help you connect with God as well as for His help in the challenges before you on any given day.
After prayer, a cup of Christian Kitchen Coffee is next on the list! After brewing your coffee, try enjoying it with a daily devotional.
Spending quality time with God in the morning, and learning more about Him through His word, is another great way to make sure you are as best prepared for your day as possible.
One final idea for your morning routine that we have over here at Christian Kitchens is for you to, while you sip on your coffee, think about those you love.
Reflect and pray for them.
Whether it is a spouse, family member, or close friend, we all have people we love. And they are humans just like us. I would encourage you to take a minute each morning to affirm your love for them.
Tell your spouse you love them before either of you head to work, take a moment to look the other person you love right in the eye and really mean what you’re saying, or just text a family member or friend something encouraging at some point during the day.
I think you’ll find that when you implement the action of affirming your love toward others into your morning routine, you will feel more fulfilled, energized, and excited to conquer the day!
I hope you all have a great day!
